Giovanni Daniele

Giovanni Daniele is the Regional Representative of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Belgrade, Serbia. Giovanni oversees IFC’s investment and advisory activities in the countries of the Western Balkans. Prior to his current assignment, Giovanni was based in Washington DC, where as the head of the Tourism Sector Unit he led the reorganization of IFC’s investment activities in the tourism sector. At the IFC in Washington, Giovanni also worked in the general manufacturing and services sectors in Latin America and Southeast Africa. Prior to that, Giovanni was based in Poland where he served as Project Coordinator for the Polish Business Advisory Services, an IFC-sponsored consulting program for the Polish SME sector. Before joining IFC, Giovanni worked in the private sector in Italy. Giovanni, an Italian national, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds and MBA from the SDA Bocconi in Milan and graduated with a degree in law from the University of Milan.
