Margo Thomas is the Regional Business Leader, Investment Climate Advisory Services in the
Western Balkans, IFC, World Bank Group. She is responsible for leading the regional investment
climate reform program which includes a strategic focus on systemic regulatory reform, commercial mediation and trade logistics. She has been working in South Eastern Europe since 1995 asteam leader for a range of business environment reform, investment policy and investment policyprojects. Ms. Thomas’ academic background includes: Ph.D. (ABD), Public Policy – IDPM, Universityof Manchester; MSc., Management – Smith School of Business, University of Maryland; and Executive Programs in Management and Leadership – Harvard Business School, University of Maryland, and Georgetown University.
