Predrag Bijelic

Dr Predrag Bjelić is Associate Professor of International trade at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics in Serbia. He teaches International trade at undergraduate studies and Electronic commerce at graduate studies. He held lectures as a Visiting Professor at many domestic and international educational institutions, especially in the region of Southeast Europe (University in Podgorica, Montenegro; University of Sarajevo, Bosnia nad Herzegovina; University of Shkodra, Albania). He is involved in many international and regional scientific projects and also works as a consultant for major domestic consulting firms.

Predrag Bjelić holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Master of Science in Economics and International Relations. His academic visits include London School of Economics, London, UK; Harvard University, Cambridge, USA and Faculty of Economics University of Oslo, Norway. Before joining Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, Dr Bjelić worked for five years as Research Fellow in the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Belgrade and before that two years in Bank of Serbia.

He has published several books and written more that hundred scientific and expert papers on international trade policy, especially WTO meters, Non-tariff barriers, EU integration and Electronic commerce, both in serbian and in english. He attended many international scientific conferences. He co-operates with many international institutions (World Trade Organization academic co-operation and WTO expert, member of UNCTAD Virtual Institute, member of Economic Scientific Association -NDE, member of International Law Association of Serbia and Montenegro, LSE academic cooperation etc). Dr Bjelić conducts research in the field of International Political Economy.
