Smiljka Gavric

Smiljka Gavric is a professional mediator within the Association of Mediators of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Center for Mediation Sarajevo. She is one of the founders of the South Eastern European Mediation Forum - SEEMF, established in Sarajevo, in 2005, and the SEEMF Country Coordinator for BiH. Also, she is the Executive Committee member of the European Mediation Network Initiative – EMNI. She is engaged as a trainer by the Centres for judicial and prosecutorial training of FBiH and RS and is a co-author of the training manual. During the pilot project "Introducing the mediation into the Municipal Court Sarajevo", she was working as mediator on commercial cases, as well as the Coordinator of the Center for Mediation Sarajevo. Prior to involvement in mediation, she had worked within international organizations in the field of communities economic development, small businesses development, as well as NGO sector development. She has a BA in Economics of the Faculty of Economics at the Sarajevo University.
