Srdjan T. Marinkovic

Srdjan T. Marinkovic (born 1970) received his bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. degree from the University of Nis, and his M.Sc from the University of Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. He also participated in Ph.D. programmes at Aarhus Scholl of Business, Denmark and University of Oslo, Norway. He was awarded scholarships of Research Council of Norway for his research at NHH, Bergen, and Foreign and Commonwealth Office for his research at CsGG/LSE, London. He is an Associate Professor of Banking and Finance at the Faculty of Economics Nis, where he currently teaches the graduate and undergraduate courses in Bank Management and Financial Markets and Institutions.Professor Marinkovic is recognized as a local expert in the area of financial system fragility. Moreover, his current research interests include aspects of financial market microstructure, derivatives market and its policy issues. Dr Marinkovic has published dozens of articles in academic and practitioner journals. He has received several awards for excellence in research activities. Dr Marinkovic was consultant at some local and international development organizations.
